Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with P&L statements and chart of accounts.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (or similar tools).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, customer payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Maintain and update the chart of accounts and post appropriate journal entries.
• Assist with preparation and review of P&L statements and other financial reports.
• Process employee payroll, including time data review and calculating wages, taxes, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Work closely with management to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as needed.
