Job summary

IDEAL Industries, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable & Receivable Coordinator in Sycamore, IL for a regular full-time role. You will process vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The position requires an associate degree in finance or accounting and 3+ years in AP, preferably in manufacturing. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401k with match.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3+ years accounts payable experience in a high-volume function using the three-way match process.
• Accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to drive towards resolution.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and payments to vendors for goods and services, timely and accurately.
• Verifies vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
• Properly records expenses and liabilities reported in company financial statements.
• Collaborates with accountants to reconcile A/P, posts journal entries, and prepares month-end reports.
• Support 1099 filing to the IRS for applicable vendors at year end.
