Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors is seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support. The role ensures payments are processed, expenses are controlled, and vendor invoices are reconciled according to established policies, reporting to Heather Heflin.

The position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality, with experience in MS Office and basic accounting principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook in daily tasks.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Check vendor invoices and prepare them for processing.
• Create all direct sales registers.
• Create debit memos for returns.
• Develop understanding of CED accounts.
• Check costing on all special order sales registers.
• Assist in Accounts Receivable as needed.
• File records properly.
• Research vendor statements monthly.
• Maintain Sales Register and Cash Sale receipts.
• Manage office supplies and record retention.
• Answer phones.
