Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support our shared services team and report to the Regional Controller. The role focuses on high-volume AP processing, coding, and ensuring accurate postings to the general ledger.

Responsibilities include invoice coding, batch reconciliation, tax calculations, and weekly check runs, with emphasis on accuracy, professionalism, and timely payment cycles across the region.

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in accounts payable is preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter, code, and process invoices per guidelines or route for approvals.
• Reconcile AP batches for coding and approval.
• Calculate and report sales tax on paid invoices.
• Post transactions to the general ledger.
• Process weekly check runs and confirm payments.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly reports and audit AP documentation.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling statements.
