Job summary

Spot On Talent is seeking an Accounts Payable and Accounting Specialist in Georgetown, TX to own AP processes and contribute to broader ERP functions. You will work under the Controller and help close monthly periods while ensuring accurate vendor payments.

The role requires 2+ years in corporate accounting, strong Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus). Onsite with benefits including medical, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems; NetSuite is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliations.
• Solid GAAP foundation and accuracy.
• Comfort with SOX-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Account payable: code and process vendor invoices, 3-way matching, vendor records, AP aging, and assists with ACH/check/wire runs.
• Support AR/GL/expense reporting; assist with month-/quarter-/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Assist with cost accounting and variance analysis; assist with sales/use tax documentation.
• Support SOX 404(b) control documentation and audit requests.
