Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as Counselor II/III (ISUDT) in our prison and re-entry programs. The role focuses on delivering face-to-face rehabilitative services, facilitating CBI classes, and supporting participants through action plans within a structured ISUDTP framework.

The Counselor II requires AOD certification, while Counselor III adds one year of full-time AOD counseling experience.

Qualifications

• Certified as an AOD Counselor for Counselor II.
• Counselor III requires certification plus 1 year of full-time AOD counseling experience.
• Ability to document services and progress accurately.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate CBI classes using standardized curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans.
• Evaluate and document participant progress.
• Document delivery of CBI programming in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institution, and contracted staff.

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and

What You Will Bring:

Required:

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full- time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
