Amity Foundation seeks compassionate individuals to join our team as Counselor II/III to deliver rehabilitative programming through the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) inside a state prison setting in California.

Counselor II requires AOD Counselor certification; Counselor III requires certification plus one year of full-time experience. Temporary positions exist without benefits, and the role is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Counselor II requires certification as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III requires AOD Counselor certification with 1 year of full-time counseling experience.
• Must be certified to be considered (CAADE, BBS, CADTP, CCAPP).

Responsabilités

• Deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming in ISUDTP.
• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Document delivery of CBI programming in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms.

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and
• Other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

• Education and Experience:

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.

• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full- time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
