Amity Foundation in California is seeking compassionate individuals for Counselor II/III roles in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) inside a state prison. The position focuses on delivering rehabilitative programming and supporting release planning.

You will facilitate CBI classes, document progress in ARMS, and work with CDCR staff. Certification as AOD Counselor is required (II or III), with one year full-time experience for III.

Qualifications

• Counselor II: Certification as AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certification as AOD Counselor with 1 year full-time experience.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations.
• Collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS HQ, local institution, and CDCR staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and
• Other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

Required:

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor OR Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full- time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
