Amity Foundation, an internationally acclaimedTeaching and Therapeutic Community, seeks compassionate individuals to join as Counselor II/III. The role involves delivering ISUDTP rehabilitative programming in a state prison setting and contributing to re-entry initiatives.

Responsibilities include facilitating CBI classes, individual sessions, documenting progress in ARMS, and collaborating with CDCR and contracted staff. Certifications and experience requirements apply.

Formación

• Counselor II requires certification as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III requires AOD Counselor certification, with one year of full-time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.

• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.

• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
