Amity Foundation in Soledad, CA invites compassionate Counselor II/III to provide face-to-face rehabilitative programming within the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) at a state prison. You will facilitate CBI classes, conduct individual sessions, document progress in ARMS, and collaborate with CDCR/CCHCS and contracted staff to support participant goals and successful re-entry.

TEMP positions do not offer benefits; hourly wage is $32.00, on-site, full-time work inside

Formación

• Certified as an AOD Counselor (Counselor II).
• Counselor III requires one year of full-time AOD counseling experience.
• Must be certified to be considered (CAADE, BBS, CADTP, CCAPP).

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate CBI classes, using evidence-based and standardized curriculum to the participants.
• Conduct class and facilitate individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and/or provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document the progress of participants assigned to their classes.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participations and completion.
• Work collaboratively with the CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff and

What You Will Bring:

Required:

• Counselor II: Certified as an AOD Counselor.
• Counselor III: Certified as an AOD Counselor, with one (1) year of full- time experience providing certified AOD counseling services.
