Amity Foundation in California seeks compassionate counselors to join our Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP) as Counselor II/III. You will deliver face-to-face rehabilitative programming and work within prison and re-entry initiatives to support community restoration.

Candidates must be AOD-certified; Counselor III requires one year of full-time experience. The role is on-site with benefits for permanent staff and includes flexible scheduling where applicable.

Qualifications

• Counselor II or III certification as AOD Counselor is required.
• Counselor III requires one year of full-time experience delivering certified AOD counseling services.
• Must be certified to be considered (CAADE, BBS, CADTP, CCAPP).

Responsabilités

• Facilitate CBI classes using evidence-based curriculum.
• Conduct class and individual sessions to develop release prevention/action plans and provide make-up work.
• Evaluate and document progress of participants.
• Document delivery of CBI programming services in ARMS.
• Engage participants daily and reinforce group norms and expectations for participation and completion.
• Work collaboratively with CDCR/CCHCS headquarters, local institution, and CDCR contracted staff.
• Other related duties as assigned.

About the Position:

The Counselor II/III (ISUDT) The Counselor III is responsible for the delivery of face-to-face rehabilitative programming services provided in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).
