Job summary

RTX is seeking an Intern in the Electrical Engineering Function to design, test, manufacture, and support advanced electrical subsystems for defense applications. The role involves RF design, phased array concepts, and radiation/EM modeling in extreme environments.

You will gain hands-on experience with passive circuit design and simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS, contributing to cutting-edge antenna and radar technologies. Onsite work in McKinney, TX with potential relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or related STEM field and enrolled through internship/co-op.
  • Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.

Responsibilities

  • Passive circuit design (transitions, manifolds, filters, radiators, et al).
  • Simulation of RF structures using Ansys HFSS.
  • Participating in cutting edge RF/CCA design.
  • Participate in design of phased array systems.
