Basilio owns search end to end, ranking clients across Google, AI answer engines, and digital PR so they are the result buyers find.

As an Answer & Generative Engine Specialist at Basilio Inc, you get clients cited by AI answer and generative engines. You sit inside the Search Authority team, own your results, and are measured on what you move, not hours logged.

Basilio Inc is a growth and marketing company that builds and runs brands across Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and the open web. We hire operators, train them on proven systems, and give them real accounts to run. This is a remote‑first, outcome‑owned role for someone who wants to do the best work of their career on brands that are actually scaling.

What You Will Own

• Optimize client content to be surfaced and cited by AI answer engines
• Structure entities, schema, and content for generative search
• Track presence across AI overviews and answer surfaces
• Advise the SEO team on the shift from links to citations
• Keep on top of algorithm, SERP, and AI‑answer changes and adjust the plan
• Coordinate with content, dev, and design to ship SEO work that holds
• Educate clients on the roadmap and what each move is worth

A Typical Week

• Move your core metrics: citations and mentions in ai answers and presence in ai overviews
• Hands‑on execution in Ahrefs, Google Search Console, schema tools
• Sync with content writers, technical and web developers, and the paid media team and report progress

What Success Looks Like

• First 30 to 60 days: you are fully ramped on your accounts and tools and already moving citations and mentions in ai answers
• Ongoing: you consistently hit target on citations and mentions in ai answers and presence in ai overviews
• You leave every account, campaign, or project measurably better than you found it

Who You Will Work With

You work alongside content writers, technical and web developers, and the paid media team. You report to your department lead and partner directly with account teams and, where the role calls for it, clients.

Working With AI (Required)

AI experience is required for this role. You are fluent with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), comfortable running models through OpenRouter and open models such as Qwen, and you write clear, effective prompts. Most of the work at Basilio Inc is AI-augmented, so you use AI to work faster and sharper every day while owning the judgment, accuracy, and final result yourself.

Use AI across research, clustering, briefs, and drafting, and understand how AI answer and generative engines surface content. You verify facts and technical calls yourself and optimize for both classic and AI search.

Growth Path
