Job summary

YMCA of Greater New York is seeking an Annual Giving Specialist to support the growth of the Annual Fund and related initiatives. The role focuses on endurance and peer-to-peer fundraising, coordinating with branches and external partners to boost donor engagement and revenue.

The position requires collaboration across internal teams, managing communications, data, and fundraising calendars, with emphasis on effective donor experiences and program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–3 years nonprofit development, annual or donor engagement experience.
• Experience supporting Annual Fund, monthly giving, campaigns, or peer-to-peer fundraising.

Responsibilities

• Support production and coordination of citywide annual appeals and campaigns.
• Recruit, onboard, and engage endurance event participants and donors.
• Collaborate with Donor Ops on participant registration, data, and logistics for endurance events.
• Serve as liaison to Branch staff for Annual Fund materials and citywide initiatives.
• Coordinate annual giving outreach calendar and track deliverables and email performance.
• Maintain digital fundraising platforms and webpages content updates.
• Support Fund Development events and projects.
