Sony Pictures Animation seeks an IT Support Specialist to ensure seamless technical operations for artists and filmmakers in a Mac-dominant studio environment. You will deliver rapid remote and on-site assistance, troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, and help keep production workflows friction-free.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in technical support, strong Mac OS skills, basic scripting in Python or Bash, and familiarity with Creative Cloud and Maya.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on technical support or systems engineering experience in animation/VFX/post-production.
• Mac OS administration and troubleshooting proficiency with working knowledge of Windows.
• Basic scripting in Python or Bash for automation and deployment; familiarity with Creative Cloud and Maya.

Responsabilités

• Provide rapid, high-touch remote and on-site technical support for 100+ users across hardware, software, and networking needs.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Mac workstations and support artist hardware like Wacom/Cintiq and color-accurate displays.
• Support remote workstation streaming environments like Parsec and secure VPN access for off-site artists and remote crew.
