SHORT TERM - 2-3 MONTHS

The pay is $17.75/hour

Interview for this role

Note: They will not be dealing with animals.

Number of openings: 2

Schedule: 6am-3pm, 9 hours Monday-Thursday, 4-hour shift on Friday

Dress code: Jeans/tennis shoes

Location: Wilmington, MA

We are seeking an Animal Housing Support Technician I for our GEMS-Breed Department.

In this role, you will work both indoors and outdoors with our animal housing (isolators).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist with isolator moves between locations
2. Work outdoors, exposed to weather conditions
3. Remove soiled caging and materials from isolators
4. Disassemble isolator components
5. Wash, rinse, and dry isolator boxes/bags
6. Operate industrial cage and rack washer
7. Regularly lift up to 50 pounds, frequently move/push 100+ pounds
8. Follow all safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical experience
• Forklift experience
