Position Summary:

$3000 sign-on bonus! 100% travel with most weekends at home! Per diem, company vehicle, and credit card provided!

Milacron is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Northeast/Northwest OH and surrounding areas. The role involves providing quality installations, maintenance, and repairs of plastic injection/extrusion equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components will be essential.

Work You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment using online/offline applications (Industry 4.0/Automation studio).
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Interface effectively with customers during repairs.
• Evaluate and recommend repairs.
• Install software on machinery.
• Load programs into equipment.
• Use administrative tools (Concur, Salesforce, ADP).
• Complete start-up sheets, calibration certificates, and PM documents accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.

Team:

• This role is part of the Aftermarket Service team, reporting to the Service Business Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with hydraulics, mechanics, electrics, controls, or similar skills.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to be away for a week or possibly two.
• Willingness to train and stay extended in Batavia, Ohio, at our headquarters.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions related to driving offenses.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and computer skills.

Physical Demands:

• Must meet physical requirements, with accommodations available for disabilities.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, and hear. May crouch and lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional work at heights.
