The Salvation Army Salisbury Corps is seeking an Angel Tree Worker for the holiday season. You will coordinate events and manage Angel Tree tables at local malls, ensuring gifts and angel tags are correctly tracked and tagged.

You will maintain records, assist with marketing materials, and provide updates to Corps officers. This role requires strong communication with the public and staff, plus reliable coordination of volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare marketing materials and filing needs as needed.
• Develop and maintain record-keeping for contact info and tag numbers.
• Maintain operations manual for Angel Tree staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate and schedule volunteers and staff for Angel Tree tables.
• Establish relationships with Angel Tree facility management.
• Perform other related work as assigned.

LOCATION: Salisbury, Maryland CorpsPOSITION: Angel Tree WorkerPOSITION TYPE: seasonal (from approximately October 26, 2026 - December 31, 2026)SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)This position is Responsible for:Coordinating and attending special events for the Angel Tree Program; managing the Angel Tree Table at area Angel Tree sits in local malls, shopping centers, etc. Creates and maintains files, on individuals or groups, who have selected angel tags, collect returning gifts and ensuring correct angel tags are attached. Will provide Corps officers with regular updates.Key Responsibilities:Communicates the purpose and mission of the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program to individuals and groups; ensuring they are informed of expectations of purchases and appropriate return timeframe.In consultation with the Corps Officer, creates and prepares marketing materials and filing needs.Develops and maintains a record-keeping system in order to retain contact information and their angel tag numbers; and ensure the data is organized, easily interpretated and accessible by other office staff and the corps officer, with approved access.Maintains the Angel Tree Program operations manual for paid employees and volunteers that staff Angel Tree tables at special events.Coordinates and schedules volunteers and staff that attend and staff Angel Tree table, as approved by the Corps Officer; and makes sure appropriate back-up or replacements are present for each shift. Directs the closing person to ensure the Angel Tree table is organized and secured before leavingBuilds and maintains a working relationship with the Angel Tree facility management.Performs other related work as assigned.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONSLimited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.).Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.Work may be performed in a normal office environment within a climate-controlled structure.
