Job summary

The Salvation Army at Galleria Mall is seeking a seasonal Angel Tree attendant for November–December. You will lift, carry, load and unload Christmas donations, assist with site setup, and interact with donors during mall hours.

Responsibilities include data entry of recipient information, warehouse cleanup, and responding to questions about the donation process while maintaining courtesy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and carry light objects up to 25 lbs.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lifting, loading, unloading, and sorting Christmas donations.
• Assist with setup, layout, and cleanup of the Angel Tree site and warehouse.
• Perform data entry of recipient information.
• Interact with donors and answer questions about the donation process.

Performs data entry of recipient information. This is a Christmas seasonal position Nov-Dec.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers. Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program. Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision. Ability to relate to the general public in a polite, friendly manner. Ability to abide by the required dress code.Education and Experience – High School Diploma of G.E.D. preferred but not required.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions - Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to stand in one location for extended periods.
