Job summary

The Salvation Army Salisbury Corps is seeking an Angel Tree Worker for the holiday season. You will coordinate events and manage Angel Tree tables at local malls, ensuring gifts and angel tags are correctly tracked and tagged.

You will maintain records, assist with marketing materials, and provide updates to Corps officers. This role requires strong communication with the public and staff, plus reliable coordination of volunteers.

Qualifications

• Experience in social/public service environments preferred.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers and events.
• Strong communication with the public and partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and attending Angel Tree Program events.
• Manage the Angel Tree Table at malls and shopping centers.
• Create and maintain files for angels, ensure correct tags and gifts.
• Provide regular updates to Corps officers.
• Communicate program purpose and expectations to the public.
• Prepare marketing materials and filing needs as needed.
• Develop and maintain record-keeping for contact info and tag numbers.
• Maintain operations manual for Angel Tree staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate and schedule volunteers and staff for Angel Tree tables.
• Establish relationships with Angel Tree facility management.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
