Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking an Angel Tree Coordinator to oversee the Angel Tree program, recruit volunteers, and manage application processes. You will organize application dates, enter data, and maintain donor and family records across multiple sites.

Strong organizational skills, experience with volunteer management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Local travel and weekend hours may be required to support distributions and events.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required; results will be reviewed.
• Experience: 1–2 years planning large social services events preferred.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteers to handle applications.
• Organize application dates and data entry.
• Enter applications into the computer program.
• Develop and utilize spreadsheets to detail applicants.
• Coordinate with other organizations to avoid duplicates.
