Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesiologist Assistant to join the Specialty Care | Health System Anesthesiology Services team. The AA functions as an integral member of the patient care team, whose members reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect.

Responsibilities include managing complex anesthesia cases, collaborating with an MDA, and contributing to staff education and research.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited anesthesia assistant program (18 or 24 months).
• Certified by NCCAA and licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board.
• Current ACLS certification and eligible for OSUMC clinical privileges.
• Maintain NCCAA certification, Ohio licensure and OSUMC credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care and case management as part of the patient care team.
• Collaborate with a licensed MD anesthesiologist in the care of each patient.
• Participate in staff education and clinical research activities.
