Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH seeks experienced Anesthesiologist Assistants to join the Main Campus and support a wide range of high-acuity surgical specialties. The AA will collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and the care team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements include 3–5 years of AA experience in a hospital setting, NCCAA certification, BLS/ACLS, and a current license. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist Assistant in a hospital inpatient environment.
• Current, valid certificate of registration.
• BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association are required.
• Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia to patients and monitors physiologic responses.
• Discusses findings and anesthesia plan with supervising anesthesiologist before induction.
• Pretests and calibrates anesthesia delivery systems and administers blood/products as needed.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, CRNAs and other team members.
