Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center seeks an Anesthesiologist Assistant to join the Specialty Care | Health System Anesthesiology Services. The AA works with an MDA to manage complex anesthesia cases and improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited anesthesia assistant program.
• Current NCCAA certification.
• Current licensure from the Ohio State Medical Board.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Must be eligible to obtain clinical privileges as designated by OSUMC Corporate Credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia case management as part of a patient care team.
• Collaborate with an MDA in the anesthetic care of each patient.
• Support staff education and clinical research activities.
• Adhere to Medical Center guidelines, state statutes, and policy protocols.
