Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Irvine, CA seeks a certified Anesthesia Technician to assist the anesthesia team. You will assemble and maintain anesthesia equipment, perform machine checks, and support patient care from induction to recovery, including emergencies and complex airway management.

Requirements include an ASATT-approved program or equivalent experience, AS degree, IV training, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ASATT approved program in Anesthesia Technology or equivalent experience.
• AS degrees or ASATT program completion with IV training.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia provider with patient care and equipment setup.
• Perform daily anesthesia machine checks and leak tests between cases.
• Prepare procedure trays and maintain sterile conditions in the OR.
• Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering for equipment maintenance.
• Assist with patient positioning and airway management as needed.
