Shift: Days (8 hour shifts)

Pay Range: $33.79/hr – $49.00/hr

Position Summary

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Medical Center. The Anesthesia Technician II is responsible for providing assistance to the Anesthesiologists in a safe, appropriate and effective manner under the direct supervision of an Anesthesiologist. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: assembly, set‑up and troubleshooting of all anesthesia equipment including anesthesia machines and ventilators; stocking of anesthesia machines and carts with supplies needed for patient care; providing assistance for routine and emergency services to Anesthesiologists and licensed personnel, while working within the scope of practice; maintaining clinical equipment in the Anesthesia Department in working order, troubleshooting and communicating with service coordinators, bio‑med, vendors and Anesthesiologists regarding repairs and supplies; and providing in‑servicing of the OR staff in the use of clinical equipment and status of equipment as necessary.

Minimum Requirements
