Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled anesthesia equipment technician to support the operating room team. Under supervision, you will set up and maintain all anesthesia equipment, assist with patient positioning for regional anesthesia, and help ensure equipment readiness between cases in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include routine calibration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with biomedical staff to resolve issues, while adhering to CDC sterilization guidelines and infection

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or clinical environments.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Familiarity with sterile processing and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service anesthesia equipment daily according to department standards.
• Set up transducers, calibrate monitors, and assemble circuits for pediatric and adult use.
• Assist in positioning patients for regional anesthesia and support providers during line insertions.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and refer complex problems to technicians.
• Restock supplies and ensure equipment readiness between cases and in the main workroom.
