Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia services in a state-of-the-art facility in Los Angeles, CA. You will prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, assist anesthesiologists/CRNAs, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or 5 years related clinical experience, 1 year in a similar role or ASATT program completion, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 5 years clinical experience in a related specialty in lieu of diploma.
• Minimum 1 year as an Anesthesia Technician in acute care or completion of an ASATT program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Ensure equipment sterilization, functionality, and availability.
• Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs in delivering patient care.
• Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies.
• Communicate with Charge Nurse and surgical team for seamless operations.
• Respond to urgent or emergency situations promptly.
• Adhere to hospital policies while focusing on patient-centered care.
• Provide customer service and maintain positive relationships with physicians and leadership.
• Perform additional duties to support perioperative services.
