Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Harbor Pines, CA is seeking a Certified Anesthesia Technologist to support anesthesia providers in the operating room. Under supervision, you will prepare and assist with induction, airway management, regional blocks, and monitoring, while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.

This temporary position spans about three months with every other weekend shifts; candidates should hold an AS degree in Anesthesia Technology and be ASATT-certified or eligible, with IV

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited program in Anesthesia Technology with an AS degree OR certified by ASATT.
• High School Diploma.
• ASATT certification or eligibility and IV certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia team with plan of care and patient monitoring.
• Set up anesthesia equipment, monitors, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with induction, regional blocks, and airway management.
• Respond to Code Blue/Pink and other emergencies with the anesthesia team.
• Support quality improvement, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
