Job summary

University of California - Irvine Health is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to assist anesthesiologists with monitoring lines and intubations, while maintaining and stocking anesthesia supplies and equipment in a busy OR setting.

The role collaborates with the Anesthesia team, OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to ensure all equipment is maintained, calibrated, and within expiration dates, supporting safe patient care in a high-volume hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR environment.
• Ability to read, speak, and follow directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with placement of monitoring lines and intubations.
• Maintain, order, and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment; provide first-line equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with Anesthesia, OR Manager, and Biomedical Engineering to ensure equipment and supplies are up-to-date, available, and clean.
