Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA is seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Tech to assist anesthesiologists with patient monitoring lines, difficult intubations, and related procedures. You will maintain supplies, perform equipment maintenance and calibration, and collaborate with OR leadership to ensure all equipment is current and clean.

The role requires the ability to work under pressure with strong organization and the flexibility to rotate shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must work quickly and accurately under pressure to support anesthesia teams.
• Strong organization and ability to work independently in a fast-paced OR.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar setting is preferred.
• Must be able to rotate shifts and weekends; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with placement of monitoring lines and intubations as needed.
• Maintain, stock, and order anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with OR Manager and Biomedical Engineering to ensure readiness and safety.
