Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist anesthesiologists with monitoring line placements and intubations. You will maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment, perform basic calibrations, and support the OR team to ensure all gear is current and ready for procedures.

Ideal candidates will have Level I trauma center experience, strong math skills, and be able to rotate shifts, including weekends. English proficiency is required to accurately follow directions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or fast-paced OR environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow directions in English.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, take call, and work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with placement of monitoring lines and intubations.
• Maintain, order, and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Provide first-line equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
