Position Details

Anesthesia Technician - Providence Portland Medical Center Operating Room, in Portland, Oregon.

This is a 36-hour per week position, working day shifts. Shifts include rotating weekends, holidays, and standby scheduling.

As a member of the surgical team under supervision, support anesthesia providers by preparing equipment and supplies, connecting monitoring lines, preparing infusion sets, and operating physiological monitors. May assist with patient prep and opening supplies before surgery.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association, upon hire
• 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital OR as an Anesthesia Technician, or completion of Anesthesia Technology Degree as a substitute.
