Anesthesia Technician at Providence St Vincent Medical Center

This is a (1.0 FTE) Full-Time, Variable Shift position.

$3,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Relocation assistance is available for qualifying applicants.

Functions as a member of the surgical team under the direct supervision of a registered perioperative nurse. The anesthesia technician supports anesthesia providers by preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for surgical cases. This includes connecting monitoring lines, preparing infusion sets, and operating physiological monitors. The incumbent must be able to perform specialized tests and may provide limited patient care, such as prepping and opening supplies before surgery.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital OR completion of an Anesthesia Technology Degree, which can substitute for 2 years of experience.
