Job description

Anesthesia Technician - Providence Portland Medical Center Operating Room, in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a 40-hour per week opportunity, working day shifts. Shifts will include rotating weekend, holiday, and standby scheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

Supports the surgical team under the supervision of a registered perioperative nurse by preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for surgical cases. Responsibilities include connecting monitoring lines, preparing infusion sets, operating physiological monitors, and performing specialized tests. May assist with patient prep and opening supplies before surgery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital OR completion of an Anesthesia Technology Degree which can substitute for 2 years of experience
