Advocate Health Care in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the Anesthesiology team. This part-time position requires working variable shifts Mon-Fri with weekend coverage as needed, with typical hours 0500-2100 and shift lengths of 6–12 hours.

Prior anesthesia tech experience is preferred and access to BLS certification within 90 days is required. The role emphasizes organizing and restocking supplies, assisting with machine checks, and supporting anesthesiologists

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Anesthesia Department or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Arrange for appropriate care for surgical patients across age groups.
• Check and restock anesthesia carts, omnicells, and OR supplies.
• Perform anesthesia machine checks and calibrations.
• Assemble IV fluid sets and transducer sets per protocol.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventory throughout the shift.
• Position patients for anesthetic procedures and assist with lines when needed.
