Job summary

The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician 2 to support anesthesia services. Under supervision, you will set up, inspect, and calibrate equipment, assist with procedures, and help coordinate auto transfusion and supply needs.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, maintain readiness, and cover shifts as required. A background check and drug screen may be required after offer.

Qualifications

• Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, checks, inspects, maintains and calibrates anesthesia equipment.
• Provides diagnostic and treatment services during regular recurring critical care situations.
• Coordinates anesthesia and auto transfusion services to support surgical procedures.
• Keeps work areas stocked, clean and organized, following safety standards.
