Job summary

Ohio State University’s Ross Heart Hospital seeks an Anesthesia Technician 2 to support anesthesia service operations. The role involves preparing, inspecting, maintaining and calibrating anesthesia equipment, and assisting during procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.

The position supports coordination of anesthesia and auto transfusion services, works with nurses, surgeons and anesthesiologists, and requires adaptability for varying shifts while maintaining high standards of patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Per Classified Civil Svc Specs or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Provide diagnostic and treatment services during regular recurring critical care situations.
• Coordinate Anesthesia and auto transfusion services with physicians and staff.
• Keep work areas stocked, clean and organized, and support a positive team culture.
