Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an Anesthesia Technician 2 to support anesthesiologists before, during, and after procedures. You will prepare, calibrate, and check equipment, stock supplies in the OR, and assist the surgical team with instruments and lines.

Maintaining clean work areas and adhering to sterility protocols is essential. The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 1 year of experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be obtained within 30 days.
• Knowledge of anesthesia procedures, equipment, and operating room protocols.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and care protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calibrate, and check anesthesia equipment before procedures.
• Stock anesthesia supplies in OR and satellite areas.
• Assist anesthesiologists by passing instruments, supplies, and lines.
• Clean and sterilize anesthesia equipment after each case.
• Ensure anesthesia cart and supply cabinets are well-stocked for procedures.
