Banner Health is seeking an Anesthesia Coordinator for Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. This Per Diem, part-time role supports scheduling for Anesthesia services across Perioperative areas and collaborates with anesthesia providers and OR staff.

The position emphasizes daily maintenance of scheduling processes, liaison work with multiple departments, and proactive problem solving to ensure timely coverage and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare related field or equivalent working knowledge.
• Requires skills and abilities typically attained by 4 years of surgery scheduling experience.
• Good leadership, organizational, communication and negotiation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements to identify available clinical resources for a site.
• Create clinician schedules based on contracts and site needs.
• Enter schedules into scheduling systems and distribute per guidelines.
• Provide regular schedule status updates to leadership and site leaders.
• Coordinate lunches and breaks to ensure seamless coverage and minimal disruption to patient care.
