Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical, cardiovascular, or obstetrical procedures in a computerized system.
• Enter patient charges, orders, and pertinent information; compile and report statistics.
• Serve as liaison between staff, physicians, and families; greet and assist patients.
• Manage physician orders for labs, imaging, and related tests; verify privileges.
• Conduct charge audits and correct missed or incorrect charges.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle scheduling priorities under pressure.
