Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking personnel to coordinate and provide anesthesia supplies, medications and equipment before and during medical procedures. The role supports a wide range of surgical and procedural cases in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in equipment prep, stock inventory, and room turnover while maintaining infection control standards. Strong computer skills and basic medical terminology knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and strong computer skills helpful.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides anesthesia supplies, medications and equipment effectively, before and during medical procedures.
• Supports a wide range of surgical and procedural cases.
• Assists in the preparation of equipment and medications as applicable.
• Assists with orders, stocking inventory, tests and maintaining anesthesia equipment.
• Responsible for turning over the room and reporting equipment malfunctions.
• Maintains a clean working environment and assists with clerical duties within the unit.
