Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide anesthesia supplies, medications and equipment.
• Provide a safe, efficient environment for the surgical patient.
• Respond in emergencies within scope with careful, thoughtful responses.
• Assist in preparation of equipment and may assist with medications.
• Assist with orders, stocking inventory, tests and maintaining equipment.
• Clean and disinfect reusable equipment and report malfunctions.
