Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, ensuring a sterile environment, and assisting in patient monitoring before, during, and after procedures.

Responsibilities include assembling equipment, stocking medications, assisting during induction and maintenance, and upholding aseptic techniques, while also monitoring and maintaining equipment and supporting room turnover and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two-year degree from an accredited college or technical school preferred.
BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

Assemble and check equipment prior to procedures to ensure proper function.
Stock and prepare medications, fluids, and anesthesia supplies.
Assist during induction, spinals, maintenance, and emergent anesthesia phases.
Maintain aseptic and sterile techniques with equipment and supplies.
Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot, calibrate, and report malfunctions.
Decontaminate, sterilize, and store reusable equipment after procedures.
Move anesthesia carts, machines, and monitoring equipment between rooms.
Track supply levels and rotate stock to prevent expiration.
