Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) seeks a Scheduler to coordinate appointment schedules across departments and physicians. You will maintain efficient departmental workflow and support patient encounters with accurate documentation and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12–18 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming calls for appointments; handle multi-line telephone/extension numbers.
• For patients from outside doctors or MANA clinics, follow rules for building new patient accounts.
• Secure general information from patient for scheduling in computer (name, DOB, symptoms, appointment times, referring physician).
• Ascertain patient needs, modality availability, and timeliness of exams.
