Job summary

Fayetteville Diagnostic Clinic seeks an Ancillary Scheduler to coordinate the ancillary department schedules, schedule appointments, and collect essential patient information. You will work with physicians and multiple departments to maintain workflow and ensure timely patient encounters in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 12–18 months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming calls for appointments; be able to handle multi-line telephone/extension numbers.
• For patients from outside doctors or MANA clinics, follow appropriate rules for building new patient accounts.
• Secure general information from patient for scheduling purposes in computer (e.g. name, date of birth, physical problems/symptoms, convenient appointment times, referring physician's name, etc.)
• Ascertain patient needs, modality availability, and timeliness of exams.
