Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department of Pathology, seeks a full-time Anatomic Pathology Business Support Office Manager to supervise eight staff and oversee day-to-day operations of the AP Front Office.

You will work with pathologists and administration to improve efficiencies, manage schedules, QA activities, training, and performance evaluations, onsite in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field required.
• 4–6 years of professional medical office management experience with supervisory duties.
• Substitution: advanced degree may replace experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees AP Front Office operations and staff performance.
• Coordinates specimen activities, accessioning, testing and IHC requests.
• Develops policies, training, and competency checks per CAP/QA standards.
• Manages staff schedules and ensures coverage for operations.
• Prepares quarterly QA reports and supports quality initiatives.
