Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) NYC Transit seeks an Associate Staff Analyst to support the Department of Buses with analytical and program management responsibilities. Qualifications

Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration or related fields.
Three years of full-time professional experience in budget, accounting, financial administration or related areas.
Combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for experience requirements.

Responsibilities

Analytics & Business Management: design, structure and own analyses.
Provide analytical support with complex quantitative/qualitative activities.
Gather, evaluate and synthesize data into management reports and actionable recommendations.
Project Management & Process Improvement: identify issues, design solutions and quantify impact.
Synthesize findings and present to senior management.
Audit processes related to availability improvements and compliance with initiatives.
Advising and influencing partners on key business decisions and change initiatives.
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and lead interviews and senior client presentations.
