Job summary

Inroads seeks an Associate Director, Analytics Engineering to help lead and scale our analytics engineering function. You will mentor teams, set data quality standards, and refine engineering practices to improve client delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering and program leadership, perform hands-on data work on critical projects, and champion best practices across pipelines and warehouses. Remote-friendly within the U.S. with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data or analytics engineering.
• Experience coaching technical teams, conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
• Proven track record designing, implementing, and maintaining data quality testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain repeatable data quality testing methodologies and automated validation frameworks.
• Partner with Engineering and Program leadership to stand up, scale, and mature the Analytics Engineering function.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to analytics engineering team members.
• Perform hands-on data work for critical projects and programs to support delivery teams.
• Monitor data pipelines and warehouse architectures for accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
• Design, refine, and champion analytics engineering best practices and workflows.
• Conduct regular code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Analytics Engineering.
