Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Manager of Analytics Engineering to lead a team transforming raw data into governed, reusable analytics assets, managing dbt models, semantic layers (LookML) and BI frameworks, and aligning data products with business priorities. You will collaborate with Data Engineering, Reporting, and Analytics teams to empower trusted insights.

The role demands hands-on expertise in modern analytics engineering, strong leadership, and a track record delivering scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data visualization or data engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Data Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing or mentoring a team.
• Proven experience delivering BI solutions with governance.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data visualization professionals.
• Develop analytics engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure data quality, governance and reliable data assets.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Reporting, Analytics teams.
• Own metrics governance and self-service enablement.
